{"id":9134,"date":"2018-12-31T10:36:40","date_gmt":"2018-12-31T10:36:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=9134"},"modified":"2018-12-31T10:36:40","modified_gmt":"2018-12-31T10:36:40","slug":"rob-bremners-liverpool","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=9134","title":{"rendered":"Rob Bremner&#8217;s Liverpool"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool publisher <a href=\"https:\/\/bluecoatpress.co.uk\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Bluecoat Press<\/a> are building up a great collection of titles showcasing British photography, particularly &#8220;<em>books about photojournalism and documentary photography, with a particular emphasis on British identity<\/em>&#8220;. <\/p>\n<p>One I know <a href=\"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=7931\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">I&#8217;ve written about<\/a> in the past was <em>Paul Trevor<\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/bluecoatpress.co.uk\/product\/like-youve-never-been-away\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Like You\u2019ve Never Been Away<\/a><\/em> and I <a href=\"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=8807\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">also mentioned<\/a> <em>Trish Murtha<\/em>&#8216;s\u00a0<em><a href=\"https:\/\/bluecoatpress.co.uk\/product\/elswick-kids\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Elswick Kids<\/a><\/em> and her <a href=\"https:\/\/bluecoatpress.co.uk\/product\/youth-unemployment\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Youth Unemployment<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Another volume, not yet listed on the Bluecoat Press site, but like these funded by a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kickstarter.com\/projects\/408499994\/the-dash-between\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">succesful &#8216;Kickstarter&#8217; campaign<\/a> (it ended in September 2018) is<em> Rob Bremner<\/em>&#8216;s &#8216;<em>The Dash Between<\/em>&#8216;, with portraits he took on the streets of Liverpool in the 1980s, which, as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.liverpoolecho.co.uk\/whats-on\/arts-culture-news\/photographer-who-captured-true-heart-15601283\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Liverpool Echo<\/a> headline says &#8220;<em>captured the true heart of 80s Liverpool<\/em>&#8220;.<\/p>\n<p>You can see a fine collection of Bremner&#8217;s images on his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/robbremner4\/\" rel=\"noopener\" target=\"_blank\">Instagram page<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Liverpool publisher Bluecoat Press are building up a great collection of titles showcasing British photography, particularly &#8220;books about photojournalism and documentary photography, with a particular emphasis on British identity&#8220;.
