{"id":879,"date":"2010-01-06T21:29:59","date_gmt":"2010-01-06T21:29:59","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=879"},"modified":"2010-01-06T21:29:59","modified_gmt":"2010-01-06T21:29:59","slug":"chiswick-house-gardens","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=879","title":{"rendered":"Chiswick House Gardens"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/mylondondiary.co.uk\/2004\/03\/25\/040325_n217.jpg\" title=\"\u00a9 2004 Peter Marshall\" alt=\"\u00a9 2004 Peter Marshall\" height=\"297\" width=\"450\" \/><br \/>\n<em><small>Chiswick House Gardens, 2004<\/small><\/em><\/p>\n<p>For some years <a href=\"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=878\" target=\"_blank\">Raymond Moore<\/a> lived in a room in a house on the riverside at Chiswick overlooking the Thames and just a short walk from <em>Chiswick House Gardens<\/em>, where <em>Bill Brandt <\/em>created some memorable images in the 1940s (but I can&#8217;t find them anywhere on the web) &#8211; though there are some by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.ribapix.com\/index.php?a=wordsearch&amp;s=gallery&amp;key=WczoyMDoiZWR3aW4gc21pdGggQ2hpc3dpY2siOw==&amp;pg=1\" target=\"_blank\">(Edwin Smit<\/a>h.) It&#8217;s only a fairly short train or bike ride from where I live, and was a place I occasionally took students to photograph in the past.
