{"id":1773,"date":"2012-11-23T10:33:18","date_gmt":"2012-11-23T10:33:18","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=1773"},"modified":"2012-11-23T10:33:18","modified_gmt":"2012-11-23T10:33:18","slug":"gilles-perrin","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=1773","title":{"rendered":"Gilles Perrin"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve several times written about the work of <strong>Gilles Perrin<\/strong>, which impressed me when I first saw it in <a href=\"http:\/\/re-photo.co.uk\/?p=73\" target=\"_blank\">Birmingham in 2007<\/a>, so I&#8217;m sorry I won&#8217;t be able to go to Paris on November 30th to celebrate both his 65th birthday and his <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gilles-perrin.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">new web site<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s a site that shows an impressive range of work, and as well as the many projects on people that I&#8217;ve often admired I was particularly interested in the section of panoramic urban landscapes in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.gilles-perrin.com\/les-photos\/urbanisme\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Urbanisme 2006-12<\/a> and also there are some fine black and white panoramics in the &#8216;Paysage&#8217; section.\u00a0 I&#8217;ve worked with my own panoramic images for over 20 years and of course run the <a href=\"http:\/\/urbanlandscape.org.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\">Urban Landscapes<\/a> site with Mike Seaborne so it&#8217;s a genre that has fascinated me for years, although most of my current work is with people and events.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>I&#8217;ve several times written about the work of Gilles Perrin, which impressed me when I first saw it in Birmingham in 2007, so I&#8217;m sorry I won&#8217;t be able to go to Paris on November 30th to celebrate both his 65th birthday and his new web site.
