There are street photographers working now whose work I find interesting &#8211; just as some years ago I found <a href=\"http:\/\/www.magnumphotos.com\/C.aspx?VP3=CMS3&amp;VF=MAGO31_10_VForm&amp;ERID=24KL534BCY\" target=\"_blank\">Trent Parke<\/a>&#8216;s 1999 book <em>Dream\/Life<\/em> worth ordering a copy from Australia, and wrote about both that and his <em>Minutes to Midnight<\/em> (2002-4).<\/p>\n<p>One I don&#8217;t remember seeing before is<strong> Joseph Michael Lopez<\/strong>, featured on the Lens blog a couple of days ago in a feature <a href=\"http:\/\/lens.blogs.nytimes.com\/2012\/09\/05\/breaking-down-the-beast\/\" target=\"_blank\">Breaking Down the Beast<\/a> by Peter Moskowitz, which has a set of 16 pictures from his street photography project, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.josephmlopez.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Dear New Yorker<\/a>, which you can find along with other work on his web site.
