I’m not exactly sure what a Blurb Pop-Up is, but we are getting one in London shortly, when Blurb launches its first-ever U.K. pop-up store<\/a> on Wednesday, November 3. They say “It will be buzzing through November 14 with free workshops, guest speakers, and special event<\/em>s.” It’s at 22 Newman St,<\/strike>\u00a0 a couple of hundred yards to the north of Oxford St and 5 minutes walk from Tottenham Court Rd tube.\u00a0 See comment – now closer to Oxford St tube.<\/p>\n

The events are listed on the web page, with links to click to RSVP if you want to attend, and everything is free. If you look through the programme you will find that I’m down to give a presentation on my Blurb book, ‘Before the Olympics<\/em>‘ on Sunday 7th Nov at 13.00-14.00, but there are some highlights too!<\/p>\n

Later that day I’ll also be there to take part in the Self-Publishing Debate<\/em> with guest panelist Bruno Ceschel <\/em>of ‘Self Publish, Be Happy<\/em>‘ at 3pm.<\/p>\n

Although the main part of my presentation will be about ‘Before the Olympics<\/em>‘ which gained an ‘Editor’s Pick’ on Blurb, I’ll also be talking about my two other Blurb books<\/a> and a little about my plans for forthcoming publications, as well as my comments on Blurb and the whole idea of self-publishing and answering any questions people have.
